In November 2025, I was at a shopping mall with one of my closest friends when we came across a photo booth. On a whim, we decided to step inside. A few minutes later, we walked out with a small photo strip that captured one of our favorite memories together.

A few days later, we went back to our own cities. Even though we stayed connected through messages and video calls, every time I looked at that photo strip, it reminded me that some memories are about the experience, not just the photos.

That made me wonder: Why can we video call anyone in the world, but we can't step into the same photo booth when we're miles apart?

That one question stayed with me and eventually became the inspiration behind LensBooth - a shared online photo booth where two people can create real photo strips together, no matter where they are in the world.
